Gliding™ exercises allow you to do smooth, graceful movements that firm, tone and sculpt long, lean beautiful muscles.
The secret is that your muscles are always engaged through a full range to strengthen and lengthen the major muscle groups of your entire body. You can sculpt shapely legs, tone your inner and outer thighs, trim your hips and firm and lift your buns, no to mention give Pilates a whole new twist!
The Gliders will be provided, but if you wish to purchase a pair of Gliders, the cost is £17.50 per pair - please see Cath in class.
Longridge - Pilates for Weight Loss (Thursday)
Does what it says on the tin!
A unique class for miles around... Use Pilates interval training with bouts of cardiovascular exercise for a truly invigorating and weight loss class.
You are given a FREE pedometer on week one, and you are to really try and get to 10,000 per day - a free tracking sheet will be emailed to you!
Longridge - Beginners Pilates (Thursday)
Could be thought of as beginners level, but equally that might be the level you want to stay at.
But, don’t be fooled – even at this entry level class you will still be challenged – we may use some small equipment in this class.
This level concentrates on keeping the movements simple and always focusing on good technique – if you want to be in a class that keeps it uncomplicated yet effective – this is the one for you. However, when you feel you are ready for a change, why not move up to the next level?
